Threeway Diverter Valve question
I am looking at a few upgrades/fixes to my Grant Aerona3 13kW I am looking at installing an a IMI de-aerator (getting bored of my daily bleeding ritual!), FRV’s (if I can afford them as I am having no joy balancing my system, I might give it another try) and replacing my Honeywell ball and paddle diverter valve (already on my second one this year!) with either the Resideo or the ESBE (or maybe the slightly cheaper MBA130 range) three way diverter valves.
Rather than spam Rich over at Pirate Heating Supplies (thanks for your prompt responses by the way) with all my stupid questions I thought I would put it to the hive mind and canvass your thoughts. Is the quality of the ESBE so much better than the Resideo that it justifies the price difference? Having watched Rich’s video on the subject I feel the Resideo is deffo up to the job (my flow rate is quite high, 34 L/min) but as I am a firm believer in buy nice or buy twice, does the ESBE massively outperform the Resideo.
Kind Regards
Si
