@Morgan, thanks for that. I'm not sure the BBC will investigate – I do, however, have the email addresses of a few producers (ITV and BBC) and will drop them an email to look into this. Not sure they will, but worth a try.

In the coming days and weeks, I will be populating the front end of the website with ASHP units and installers in the reviews section – these will be top line summaries of products and installers, and the intention is for homeowners and consumers to rate their experiences. In time, this will hopefully develop into a useful reference for other homeowners to see whether a product or installer are worth investing in.

While I have the ASHP units under control, I would love to know who you used for your installation - please direct message if you'd me to add your installer to the site so that you can rate them - we will have multiple criteria such as professionalism, quality of installation, price, etc. This will an opportunity to promote the great installers or name and shame the guys that have bodged an installation.

Does anyone have a Panasonic 12kw ashp fitted to a new-build? We will be moving soon to the above, & would be interested to hear how theirs is performing - thanks 😊

Hi all,

Like some others I have had a hell of a time on my ASHP install, now over the 1 year mark and its not clear if/when it will be finished as the installer keeps cancelling.   With the RHI deadline only 8.5 weeks away I want to tee up an alternative MCS engineer to come and finish the job.   Does anyone have any recommendations for the Essex area?
