Iv been on auto adapt mode using the timer but im currently try to switch the system to W/Comp.

Every time the timer cuts in the system automatically reverts back to Auto adapt mode.

Does the ecodan not allow a timer setting on W/comp???

When on WC the WC curve controls the heating based on the outside temperature. You can use schedules for DHW (hot water) though. What are you trying to do with a timer?

Apologies Rob as I now understand what you were saying concerning the w/c controls the inside temperature depending on the outside temperature.

So does that the make my wireless controller in my living area redundant other than acting as a temperature gauge 🤔

@westkent

Almost, the wireless controller just becomes a limiter, if the internal temperature goes 1C above the set temperature then the heat pump will be shut off until the interval temperature drops below the set temperature +1C.
