Is this a bad installation and is there something wrong with my Samsung heat pump?
Heating engineer out today and a number of things wrong. I should get the report tomorrow but the two main items are that the water is flowing around the heat pump in the wrong direction and that the primary pump is wired to run constantly. The Samsung controller is in a kitchen cupboard and it has a stat in it so it’s confused since another room stat is giving it data it doesn’t understand. The pipework they fitted to the outside
is still wrong fairly pathetic effort
To clarify @david999 - I'm looking back at your previous photos
are the two you've just posted taken with the camera looking in the direction of the red arrow?
If so, then that's how they left the external pipes last Tues (16th), after they'd just fitted a 'through the wall' kit.
Is that the case?

And is that insulation classified for external use?
Ie is it UV resistant?
Somewhere it will be marked with product codes, similar to those on the Kaiflex in this photo.

@transparent Pipe is just plain black seems like it’s different material than what goes through the wall.
It’s pumped wrong at the pump in the loft, at the 3 port valve and at the heat pump outside. The system pump runs continuously and not on demand.
a fairly shocking example of workmanship and clearly not commissioned. I await their response but kind of lost heart with their incompetence.
Just an update on my install. They have been back and changed all the parts that my engineer snagged. We clashed on primary pipework since they have never fitted 35mm pipework to any installation and always use 28mm. My flow rate is 29 and 30lpm and my pumps at max speed no3.
I turn my room stat up but my heat pump doesn’t kick in for a bit and I find that the heat pump seems to be blowing less now, before it seemed to be flat out, blow you over.
samsung has stopped talking to me and prefer to liaise with the installer now so I firstly can’t ask questions which I always copied my installer in on and secondly now need to rely on my installer telling me what samsung tell them is the truth. Samsung were never given my installers details I kept that back from the engineer so they must have contacted Samsungs and realised it was me. But disappointed they cut me out of the loop.
Samsungs are so easy to install, you could fix this yourself if you wanted….
How many pumps do you have? (It will either be one or two, it shouldn’t be more)
the only way the water can flow the wrong way round is if they’ve fitted the primary pump back to front. And then it wouldn’t work because flow sensor….

@david999 On the subject of isolation after the battery, class T fused disconnect (two pole) is what is be using…. Not at all expensive.
