Would like to know what managing device would benifit and be compatible with a 8 yr old Samsung old Model : AE160JXYDEH/EU
@alfapat From that Q&A, it rather sounds as though the first enquiry might be ‘does the 8 year old heat pump have Modbus or could Modbus be fitted?’ Regards, Toodles.
Toodles, heats his home with cold draughts and cooks food with magnets.

Hi , Im not sure what you mean . Should I have put this question in Q&A ?
@alfapat In that RHH Q&A presentation, there was mention of compatibility with Homely and / or Havenwise controllers and monitors; the advice seems to be that Modbus will be necessary for most commercially available smart controllers. Another method uses ‘E-buss’ I think it was called but this is so far adopted on a much smaller scale. Regards, Toodles.

@toodles Thanks for that, yes I did see the Vid , If my pump can be Modded thats fine , I was hoping so by posting it after the video. You may have answered my quwstion. I will try Havenwise first.
@alfapat we have Havenwise coming back on the show in two weeks time. Please give me the exact question you have for them and I will be happy to ask them.

Without knowing anything about hw this works , I would like to know that from the app , does the Havenwise control my system and therefore it shows on the app , or do I have to input data to assist it . I would much prefer the former.
Thank you in advance.
