@morgan That Classic Car should have been connected to Octopus Agile during today’s ‘plunge pricing’ - I had hoped to participate and use a few kW/hours during that time - but my solar array was producing more than I could consume - I was still exporting! I had checked the Met Office forecast and we were supposed to have seen lots of grey clouds but in fact have had almost wall to wall sun!!!
Toodles, heats his home with cold draughts and cooks food with magnets.
@toodles looking into getting solar. Just need somebody to respond to initial enquiries. The Givenergy looks interesting.

There's got to be a joke in there somewhere @morgan, but I can't work out if Givenergy is the punchline 🤨
... alternatively, start a new topic with a Subject which enables others to understand what it's about, and place your 'initial queries' into your opening post. Tag me there and I'll receive an alert.
I've had experience with both grid-tied and off-grid inverters, and grid-tied and off-grid battery storage. So there aren't many initial queries which would stump me.
But the grid-tied battery wasn't particularly funny, and I wouldn't have installed one if it hadn't arrived as part of a trial.

Dear insurer,
If the car's a write-off, may I please keep the battery? 😉

I've just received this advert in a mailshot from AliExpress
They failed to provide a caption, but there are probably a few ideas on this forum 😋

Meanwhile the police farce in Cornwall have been very pleased with their new EVs, and are now embarking on a county-wide economy drive.
Apparently the crime level fell when the Scilly police dropped all the charges. 😉
