Octopus (the grid) is my battery
@andris And that of course is just as it should be!😉 I feel hard done by if I have to pay as much or more than the export rate of 15pence per kWh! The differential at present is not worth charging up the battery so as to export energy during times of peak demand at the moment - allowing for the 10 % round trip loss, anything over about 13.5 pence means I leave the grid power alone. 😉 Today’s solar is dropping rapidly now (19:00) but our system has produced 40 kWh and of that, 31.5 kWh have been exported. Regards, Toodles.

@toodles That's great!
Only at 32.5kw but it was pretty cloudy all day the in Edinburgh.
Have nice evening 😊
Ps: This year's record so far 54.5kw on 26th of April.
16kw Samsung TDM ASHP. 8.4kw PV, power optimizers 20×420watt panels 6kw SolarEdge inverter.
@andris My ‘Best Effort’ so far was on 4th. June 2023 when the production was 51.5 kWh. I have 8.1 kWp across a total of 21 Canadian Solar panels, each with an Enphase IQ7 microconverter. I do have some shadowing, and placement is not ideal but the best achievable in the circumstances. Regards a very green Toodles in Berkshire.
