UPS to keep broadband and wifi available during power outages

Maybe find an old one on freecycle and put a new battery in it.

I didn't quite manage that but I did find an APC Smart 1000 on eBay for £60 without a battery and bought a new 3rd party battery for £110 so all set up for a reasonable amount.
