We are extremely excited about this new product that we’ve been working on, which we think is going to a game changer in home heating:  https://renewableheatinghub.co.uk/eco-heatsense-groundbreaking-trv

I would be interested to know how this valve is supposed to work, since if my understanding is correct, it would appear to defy the laws of thermodynamics.

I fail to understand how such a valve can absorb thermal energy from a warmer room and transfer it to a colder room, I assume utilising the central heating water as the transfer medium, if the water is at a higher temperature than the warm room air temperature.

Sounds very much like those small heaters that could heat the whole room for a few pence. 🙄

@derek-m, I just had some fun with this post. This is not a real product and won't be coming to market any time soon. Happy April Fool's Day 2023!

Sounds impressive.  How big are they?  I would have thought you'd need quite a lot of thermconite to store enough heat.

Also, Mrs M wants to know if they come in any other colours?

Well done Mars, it is not very often that I get caught on April Fool's Day, I must be getting old.

@derek-m, to be fair, I don't think April 1st pranks are much of a thing nowadays.

True. I can vaguely remember the days when we would send a new apprentice down to the stores for a 'long stand'.

@derek-m or a bag of sparks, or a box of rivet holes, or some sky hooks. I fell for the lot when I served my time.
