I am thrilled to reveal that our groundbreaking product, which we’ve been working on 15 months, is set to start selling in the UK this autumn. Working in collaboration with some of the country’s best heat engineers and designers, we’ve invented a game-changing radiator valve: The Eco Heatsense. The prototype speaks for itself, and it’s bound to revolutionise the way UK households consume energy, saving them up to 30-35% on their energy bills.
This valve is designed with a unique built-in heat exchanger, making it highly effective in rooms with significant thermal gain or those with wood-burning stoves. The floor-standing unit absorbs excess heat from the room, funnelling it back into the radiator system to maintain a comfortable temperature. If the room temperature drops below 21C, the unit deactivates its heat-funnelling functions, ensuring that rooms never get cold.
What makes the heat absorption possible is the joint invention of a new metal compound (thermconite pyroalloy) that is extremely sensitive to heat changes and is an excellent thermal conductor.
Throughout the winter months from December 2022 to February 2023, a trial of the Eco Heatsense was conducted in 25 homes across the UK. The installation of a single Eco Heatsense in a room that had high thermal gain or had a wood-burning stove led to an impressive decrease in heating expenses, which reached as high as 35% in some cases.
The unit is easy to install and can be retrofitted onto existing radiators without the need for major modifications. It operates silently and efficiently, using minimal thermal energy to assist the central heating system.
The Eco Heatsense is expected to hit the market in September 2023 and will retail for an affordable £39.99.
We’re extremely excited about the roll out of this product in the UK later this year and we’ll start to take pre-orders when manufacturing production starts this summer – watch this space for future announcements.
Happy April Fool’s Day 2023
So I just had some fun with this post. This is not a real product and won’t be coming to market any time soon.
Where do I sign up!!??
