It depends @toodles  on what @editor has in mind by way of a redemption scheme.

I rather fancy trialing a Tokamak fusion reactor...
but I'd need to retain enough kWh to get it started.

Really one for @editor : I've had to go through the cookie confirmation steps again.  The particular software you use is awful for "legitimate interest" (there are dozens to untick) and hiding the majority of these under a separate, non-obvious link called "Vendor Preferences"; it isn't at all clear, in any case, what happens if you "withdraw consent" by unticking that but leave "Legitimate Interest" ticked?  Do you have any further insight to this as the site owner, or can you ask your hosting provider?  I can't find any clarifying info on this point in particular (plenty about what Legitimate Interest is) but I could be getting my searches wrong.
