Brine pump error message on Thermia 8kW ground source heat pump system
Hi, I have just joined this forum.
we live in Northern Ireland. Build our house 10years ago and installed a Thermia GSHP 8kw system. The brine loop goes straight down 350ft.
All has been amazing with running it. however 2 weeks ago an alarm message - Brine pump - came up and we had to switch the unit off as it was going to AUX2 so using alot of electricity.
Our problem is getting someone to look at it. The company who installed it is no longer trading!
I have researched and found that the brine antifreeze can deteriorate over time.
We cannot seem to find someone to look at it here - Northern Ireland.
Help
Welcome to the forums @schanna, and sorry to hear about your issues.
I don't know any installers in Northern Ireland, but I'll put my feelers out for you. Are you specifically looking for someone to come out and fix it, or are you looking for solutions you can potentially do yourself to get it back up and running again?

Either please.
i have searched the internet, turned it off then on. Very little information out there!!
@schanna no problem at all… I’ll see what my installer network, which is extensive, can recommend.

@schanna I’ve just DM’d you a potential company that’s been recommended to me… I can’t vouch for them which is why I haven’t posted them here.
