Vaillant Aerotherm Plus

Can some one with an Aerotherm Plus please take a picture of the electrical connection cover on the back of their external unit please. Mine has been properly bodged (not even screwed up) and isn't neither weather or gas proof (install manual says it should be both). I'd like to show the company that did mine what a good one looks like. Thanks

@witchcraft Thats not good, but understand from their perspective if installers arent taking care and fitting correctly. doesnt help you though. Whats your installer saying, hope they are not the ones we used

@ceebee They were saying the bodge job I had was OK (which was not Vaillant's view) both the idiot who did it and the director who was dealing with it have left the company and the new person dealing with my issues has yet to respond.

@witchcraft We had similar issues, the installer blamed us, the electrician then vaillant, anyone but themselves, even once it was obvious it was clearly their incompetence it was then a design fault. Hope they sort it out soon for you as you dont want water in there especially as its getting colder now

That is outrageous. Can you please remind me if your installers were MCS accredited? If they were, you must call the MCS and lodge a formal complaint. Also, if they were, you will have insurance that will cover work to rectify the problem. But your starting point must be the MCS.

@editor Yes MCS registered and warned that it will go to MCS if not sorted. Its appalling but if their new team fix it without further unpleasantness it avoids me having to have a fight. I'll keep you informed.
