@jamespa just the CH one and no nothing is heating. When I put the demand in for hotter water - it shut down the CH pump plus some whirring of valves - not sure which. But as soon as the HW demand was met, it went back to the continuous running. It was odd that I couldn't run the CH system. Maybe too warm outside? We'll see

OK so what controls the CH pump?  It could be controlled by the heat pump, but perhaps more likely (given you have a buffer)  it could be controlled (directly or indirectly) by the call for heat from the thermostats, or the state of the valves (which may be controlled by the call for heat from the thermostats).  If you can work this out you will know where to look.  Follow the wiring it will give you a clue.  Fiddle with the thermostats and valves that will give you a clue..

Thanks. No buffer. Def controlled by the Samsung. Thermostats seen to have no effect. Looks like a serious failure on the panel? It's under warranty... .

Engineer has been. Prob air locks....undid a few things and forced it to heat.....we thought the valves had failed but a rare thing to get both failing. And under a year. The supposed air release valves don't always do their job but the system is working now & the valves have closed down & pump stopped. Yep, simple solution. Thanks for your help
