Mitsubishi PAR-WT60R-E Wireless Controller installation
I asked a question about this previously, but things have moved on and I am seeking advice.
After my chosen contractor installed the unit, it became clear that the room temperature was not being transmitted to the FTC6. In addition, the heat pump was starting at completely random times heating both house and DHW and overriding my scheduled times. Also the DHW override button did nothing.
After calling him back he explained that they had done what a Mitsubishi contact had told them and this basically amounted to plugging in the receiver in CNRF and setting SW1-8 to "On" (Abernyte previously suggested this latter). He had been told that: 1) installing this unit overrodes all other FTC6 settings including schedule timer and also that the hot water switch on the transmitter did nothing. He has previously had bad support from Mitsubishi and this seems to be a further astonishingly bad example.
The contractor was unwilling/ unable to offer any further help and it was agreed that they should remove the receiver.
I am left with no alternative but to try to install this myself and after studying the Installation Manual I think that what they did was correct but that they missed other important steps, particularly the selection of the correct thermocouple.
I have the PAR 60 Installation manual and the System installation manual and I don't think this is beyond my capabilities, but wonder if there is anyone on the forum who is prepared to give me payed email support for when I start.

Do you have both the Mitsubishi Ecodan FTC Wireless Receiver PAR-WR61R-E and the Transmitter PAR-WT60R and have them paired?
Retrofitted 11.2kw Mitsubishi Ecodan to new radiators commissioned November 2021.

2 ESS Smile G3 10.1 batteries.
ESS Smile G3 5kw inverter.
@morgan They have been paired once but it was thought best to disconnect the receiver and get back to how it was on Weather Compensation, after a difficult session this morning. I can connect again and try to re-pair.
I believe one problem was that MelCloud was reading the FTC6 thermocouple rather than the PAR-WT60
