Crumbling exterior insulation ASHP
Hi - system is based on a NIBE 2040 ASHP with a Nibe SMO S40 control box which monitors all the data from the heat pump. It is quite a large house (didn’t manage to downsize on retiring!) with 2 floors each with its own Heatmiser UHF8 - RF box. We have 5 downstairs Heatmiser wireless thermostats controlling the underfloor heating system and 3 wireless Heatmiser thermostats upstairs along with 4 radiators not linked into the Heatmiser system. There is also a master Heatmiser timer upstairs which I think controls the whole network with switch on/off functions. I enclose some pics of the heating system, hot water tanks and Nibe controller.
i also have to add that our new home has 15 PV panels and a control4 system which monitors and controls lighting and media systems and the heating system in the house with a feed from the Heatmiser thermostats. So a lot of new stuff to to manage but the heating system is a priority. Cheers Plummersknowe.
