Hello,

I wonder whether anyone can comment on the HW and CH controllers they have for their ASHP. We have just had a Grant Aerona 17Kw pump installed. The installation went well and the communication with the installing company was fine. We had never really discussed the controllers for HW and CH. Our boiler was controlled with one unit for both HW and CH with different time slots for each day of the week. It did not have a temp. setting for the off minimum and needed to be changed. But now in the place of the old controller we have one for the HW and in the position of our old sitting room thermostat we have a combined CH thermostat and controller.

I find this arrangement a little unfortunate and would have preferred a combined controller and been happy with a thermostat in the sitting room. We did not want a Hive internet controller.
