An American talking sense about sizing HVAC.
There are some very good YouTube presentation from Technology Connections on many subjects and to my mind they are presented in a very enjoyable style without gimmicks and with a lot of good sense!
Is a long presentation and I understand there is a shorter version which I have not watched; the presenter covers his subjects along with well controlled and amusing min-rants - he speaks a lot of sense. This particular presentation is commendable and I suggest dear reader, you give it a try! Regards, Toodles.

Good find Toodles.
So it would appear to be rip-off USA as well as rip-off UK when it comes to heat pumps, which is why I installed an air to air one. 😎
@derek-m It is indeed a case of the ‘Blind leading the Blind’ for the vast majority of purchases worldwide I suspect - though perhaps the Scandinavians and a few other areas, have so much more familiarity with the concepts that more sensible tactics might be employed there. Perhaps the ideas expressed in this presentation should be made compulsory watching or listening, especially by installers! We (on this forum) are all aware of the best practice involved but are others??? Regards, Toodles.
