For those that were with Symbio check your final statement. I have a discrepancy of one month's payment. They have charged more than I have used. This may be down to their accounting method but I would have liked to have seen the final bill to have shown this. I have contacted both Symbio and Ofgem to point this out, no reply as yet.
@info it's targeted at EV owners. Realistically they have no way to tell if you have an EV or not.
The effect of Go and batteries - all of that use was 5p/kw.
The rest of the day was batteries and solar. Big difference between what I see and what the grid sees!
After the demise of Symbio (RIP low cost electricity) we still haven't been fully setup with E.ON and the advice is to wait to change providers until the temporary account is setup with them. I'm not sure how much longer I'm willing to wait given that we are going into a high usage period with heating from the ASHP and they've already had a month to setup our account.
Surprisingly after over a year of being with Symbio they managed to bill me pretty close to what we actually used. I hope the direct debit taken by Symbio just before they went under that was taken to pay for Octobers electricity is honored by E.ON as payment for that months electricity.
It seems Neon Reef is currently the cheapest at around 17p per kWh so quite a jump for us from 10.9p given that we use roughly 35,000 kWh a year and I don't have much faith in Neon Reef surviving very long.
Mitsubishi Ecodan 14kw ASHP + 500l Cylinder
Hi @george just curious about your bills and setup. I was looking at your Oct bill from the spreadsheet you provided - it looks like you used nearly 3000kwh which seems huge...I am curious as I have recently installed an ASHP and am very carefully monitoring our bills too. We have a 210m2 house with UFH downstairs and rads upstairs, mostly set the thermostats to 18-19 which seems comfortable enough sofar, occasionally using the log fire. In comparison we have used 643 Kwh by day and 210 kwh by night in the same period.....I'm assuming you either have a big house or are setting the thermostats very high?
@george we’re also waiting for our switch to be finalized. Still worth switching to some one else at 17p from the 23/24p we will be charged by E.ON.

That seems expensive Mars - I'm stuck on the variable with Octopus and it's still not too bad at 22pD/16pN with 24P SC.
Here are the E-on standard rates for each region by Direct Debit.
I managed to switch over to Neon Reef, literally just before it all hit the fan. I'm on a Neptune V3 Fixed at 16.498p per Kwh with a daily charge of 17.23p - then two days after my switch was confirmed, the current crisis hit. Having said that, every day I keep on checking the news to see if Neon Reef are still in business. My old tariff with Symbio had just run out & they wanted to triple my old rate, so I bailed. Symbio collapsed a couple of weeks after I bailed, so I got out just in time.
