I was watching Richard Osman's House of Games tonight and they had a question: How many smart and advanced electricity meters are there in the UK (including businesses)?

It was an intriguing question. Beer in hand, I guessed 10 million. I was wrong. Very wrong. 

Don’t Google it. Answer honestly. How many smart and advanced electricity meters do you think there are in the UK?

I was thinkint it might only be at the 5 million mark.  HOw many work as they are supposed to is another question.  Our needs an ariel but I am not sure the correct type was fitted to permit that.
