[Sticky] Solar Power Output – Let’s Compare Generation Figures
Aircon is aka air to air heat pump so, as with air to water heat pumps, they're highly efficient. Getting 3x kwh out for each kwh in. Ehether heating or cooling
So useful for aircon in summer - especially if you have solar and/or batteries to fill at cheap overnight rates.
Aircon is also useful as heating in the shoulder months when your ashp may not really be needed. Even better with solar/batteries.
