Hi!

Long story condensed: bought a new home earlier this year, had entirely new plumbing and rads (and electrics, and plastering etc etc) done earlier in the year. Builder did it all - a jack of all trades as it were - but despite me thinking about a heat pump, we managed to re-use the Valiant boiler and my builder was not confident in installing a heat pump anyway. Plus... I needed the work completed, so it was very much 'path of least resistance' whilst we were in rented accommodation!

However, he did move me to a pressurised system and installed a 300L Megaflo which is working well.

As far as I can tell, this is the same type of cylinder any heat pump install would also need? It may not be quite as efficient... but its exactly the same type of water cylinder needed? Wondering if it can be re-used.

Thanks!
