I've just reviewed our legal guard policy and the only area where our policy would potentially apply to Sam's issue is breach of contract under "buying your main home". I would assume that if the ASHP was mentioned in the contract, there would be potential grounds to activate the policy. But I've only read the summary page and if Sam does this coverage under her insurance, it's definitely worth a call.
