Ecodan heat pump that has lost connection
Hi I’m new to this so pls bear with me! I have an Ecodan heat pump that has lost connection with its stat - YouTube tells me to turn the pump off (3secs) then turn server off for 5 secs - but my connection won’t turn off manually or otherwise- any ideas 💡 pls
Hi Mandie,
When you say the Ecodan has lost connection with the stat, are you referring to the MELcloud interface known as a MAC-567IF which is connected to the big box on the side of the DHW tank, and has a series of green or orange lights down the right hand side? If yes - what lights are you seeing?
Sorry for the delay - yes I mean this but mine has green light on top and when you reset it the orange light to the left flashes (it’s then supposed to reset back to green but mine stays orange for ages and then as soon as I put my batteries back in my thermostat the J1 fault reappears in the box next to my water tank) (this is the box that I can adjust all my heating and water settings (hopefully this makes sense )
If you refer to this document -

@harriup thank you ! I’ll try giving this a go - I work for a heating company so I’ll get one of our senior engineers to try after Christmas and pop back on here if no joy - thank you again😊
