Do I just go with the lowest quote for my heat pump?
Posted by: @jancold@jamespa OK I have found that setting and reduced by 1C and see how that goes.
Great. Be prepared to take several days reducing it a degree a day. If you overshoot and the house gets too cold just step it up one.
4kW peak of solar PV since 2011; EV and a 1930s house which has been partially renovated to improve its efficiency. 7kW Vaillant heat pump.
@jancold I’m not expecting to turn my heating on for at least a couple of weeks, but will certainly try out that link to the madoka and see if that provides a steadier heat and energy consumption.
You will find quite a lot of Daikin nerds on community.openenegymonitor.org and at least one thread devoted to Daikin’s. Also really interesting info on their sister site, which displays their live logging info.
