Icing preventing air flow?
Our Daikin EDLA14D3V3 heat exchangers are getting so frosted that I can't see how they can be extracting heat from the air, because the flow must be impeded. I thought I would ask for the forum's advice about whether I should be concerned, before spending time chasing suppliers, etc. Thanks in advance....

Hi and welcome to the forum. The last couple of days have had weather that makes frosting more likely. Has your heating and HW been working OK? And do you know if the system has actually been defrosting?

Ice formation on the Evaporator heat exchanger is to be expected, particularly when there is high humidity in the ambient air and the temperature is below 10C and above freezing. The heat pump should be carrying out defrost cycles to maintain an adequate air flow.
@derek-m Thanks for such a quick response and your reassurance.
The pump appears to be working OK. However, the house is unoccupied and ticking over at 15C at the moment, so it's hard to assess how well it's working. Also, the weather has only just started being cold enough to accumulate meaningful energy data. I'm not aware of it defrosting, but will monitor and come back here if I'm still concerned.
