@derek-m sure. It's a Joule tank, Samsung gen6 wired remote and here's an image of the sticker on the outside unit.

Anything else you need?

@derek-m also, Freedom didn't fit my system. Consumer energy solutions did.

Below is an extract from the MIM-E03CN manual, which is the recommended controller for use with your heat pump.

Wiring works
Connection guide of additional pump
Case 1) INV. pump
Connect the PWM control external type pump to PWM terminal block and power cable to the external contact terminal

I would suggest that you ask your installer why he did not fit the type of water pump that should be used with your heat pump.

Do you only have the one water pump?

Is your system still short cycling at the same frequency?

One possible problem could be incorrect settings within the controller. If possible go into the installer menu and make a note of any parameter settings that you can find, and then post the results.

@derek-m I have two pumps I believe. You can see both pumps in this pic.

I am still getting short cycling, yes.

What settings do you mean, sorry?

It's entirely possible the settings are incorrect, I've had to wing it to get as far as I have.

@craig1980

What is the temperature setting of the two thermostats, and what is their make and model?

@craig1980

Turn both thermostats up to 25C and see if this has any effect on the cycling.

@derek-m okay, I'm not at home at the moment. I'll do it later and report back. I've made various adjustment to water law which is Samsung for WC. The temp in the house is nice and the COP is acceptable too. Just the cycling. Thanks again

The Joule Samsung instructions are available on line, they don’t use a PWM pump. They have a separate interface PCB that comes after the MIM. I’ll see if I can find a link.

I would be inclined to get the installer to wire/plumb it up as per the Midsummer wholesale instructions that give details on how to fit a PWM pump and use the Samsung controller as the room stat.
