Apart from privacy issues and data ownership, could we trust builders and installers to do the work properly??? Toodles.

This seems excellent to me since I get so annoyed with current building regs of two panels on a south facing roof which could take 10. Or two on the north face since that was the house orientation.

Presumably an energy company with much bigger buying power will drive down prices, kick builders into doing things right (if the resident is guaranteed zero bills, but not if it’s just a sales gimmick) and data? Well they have it anyway!

2kW + Growatt & 4kW +Sunnyboy PV on south-facing roof Solar thermal. 9.5kWh Givenergy battery with AC3. MVHR. Vaillant 7kW ASHP (very pleased with SCOP >4) open system operating on WC
