@Morgan by the logs and performance data, PHP processing has been improved up by 338%... still more things to learn about PHP and DB optimisation though. Today's lesson for me will be in MySQL optimisation which should remove that 1-3 second lag on page load ups.

Things certainly feel more snappy today. Great job @editor

Samsung 12kW gen6 ASHP with 50L volumiser and all new large radiators. 7.2kWp solar (south facing), Tesla PW3 (13.5kW)
Solar generation completely offsets ASHP usage annually. We no longer burn ~1600L of kerosene annually.

@old_scientist thank you, and thank you to @Morgan for making me do something I've been putting off.

I have a very fast fibre Internet connection and I have a wait time of less than 1 second between click and load of new pages.

Just to keep everyone in the loop, as the site continues to grow we’ve upgraded our security to keep things safe. Some of the new settings are quite “aggressive”, so if you notice anything behaving differently or something stops working, please drop a comment here and let us know.

We've had a slight glitch with our security software for the website and some of you may have been blocked and locked out briefly. We have raised this with the developers, and we'll try to get this resolved ASAP. Apologies if you've been inadvertently locked out today.

Heating season is definitely upon us, and things are really starting to warm up on Renewable Heating Hub.

We’re closing in on 6,000 registered members, and this morning alone there were almost 500 people online. A lot of lurkers! Lurkers, please register and post.

It’s brilliant to see so much engagement, but let’s keep it going.

Please get your family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, your postie or that one bloke who’s always moaning about his heating bills to join us and be part of the conversation.

The more voices we have, the stronger and more helpful this community becomes.

Just an idea @editor, that QR code you generated for me to use taking scanners to the RHH, how about publishing it in the forum so others may copy and paste it in their emails etc.?

By the way, I have just renewed my ‘Visit a Heat Pump’ poster at my gate and this time, it also incorporates that QR code along with a short suggestion to readers to join RHH with their questions etc. Regards, Toodles.
