And lets hope that those silicon clad panels can look forward to obtaining a deeper sun tan this year! (We seem to have our very own cloud base that feel very ‘at home’ hereabouts and seem reluctant to move on - as a result, there has been ‘nothing to see’ for what seems like many months.) Regrets, Toodles.

Since the start of the year, I’ve noticed that our website’s load times have started to progressively slow down. This is largely due to the continued growth in traffic, not just on the forums but also on the main site. To ensure a better experience for everyone, I’ve begun exploring options to upgrade our hosting again – about 12 months earlier than planned after our last upgrade.

This is a significant and costly undertaking, as the migration process will be quite complex. If you experience slower load times in the coming weeks, please bear with us because we're working on it.

Is it possible to do a search on the log-files to see how many views are coming from .gov.uk addresses, for example?

Coz, if so, then we'll pass the collection bucket around Westminster!

97% of the traffic is from gov.uk addresses 😉

Im not sure if thats encouraging or scary.

 


4kW peak of solar PV since 2011; EV and a 1930s house which has been partially renovated to improve its efficiency. 7kW Vaillant heat pump.

Im not sure if thats encouraging or scary.

🤣 I haven't gone through the logs because that would be an awful and soul-destroying task, but I do know that there are visitors from the government that visit the site frequently (specifically the forums), but in terms of overall traffic that would be under 0.20%.
