I think I may have done something silly, but havent been able to figure out what so some help would be appreciated.

Last heating season, I had my Samsung working very nicely with water law and scheduling. This season I believe it started as before but I think I used the up and down arrows on the controller to adjust the room temperature and now the scheduling doesnt seem to work. I dont recall changing anything else.

Try as I might I cant get it to revert to its previous operation mode.

Sorry, not sure I can help. I only use Daily schedules which only apply to DHW. We use a programmable third party room thermostat to control heating ON/OFF by a timed schedule.

I do have a digital copy of the manual somewhere though. Do you have a copy of the user manual to check?

When I enter schedule on my controller, the Weekly and Yearly options are greyed out, but that maybe because I already have daily schedules for DHW set up (I'm not sure you can use both at the same time).

@old_scientist thanks for trying. I do have a copy of the user manual but it's not helping. 😁

I only use the weekly schedules as I dont heat my hot water with the ASHP

Your schedules look like they are greyed out?

The only thing I could find is that weekly schedules for heating are not available (greyed out) if a 3rd party room thermostat is in use (FSV #2091 #2092), so maybe check these settings. It looks from your first picture that a 3rd party room thermostat isn't in use as the heating side of the display shows a set temperature in degC (21.5C).

Is the system just ignoring your schedules and providing heat 24h per day rather than turning off at 22:00?

@old_scientist Thanks. I'll check the FSVs tomorrow. Yes it's just on 24/7 now so it's not a disaster but I'd like to get to the bottom of it.

@old_scientist Just checked the FSV's both are set to NOT USE. I think I will delete all my schedules and then try re instating them to see if that makes a difference. 🙁

OK, as expected, so not that (but was worth checking).

I'm puzzled why they appear to be greyed out. Were they always greyed out like that? The fact they are greyed out indicates to me that they are not active (as you've observed), but we don't (yet) know why.

@old_scientist My feeling was that they might always have been greyed out but I wouldn't bet any money on it. I've reinstated new schedules now and will see if that makes any difference 🙂

@bontwoody are the new schedules you've added also greyed out?

@old_scientist Yes they are. Ive found a detailed discussion of the relevant FSV numbers on OEM. They suggest 2091 - Not Use, 2092 - Not Use and 2093 - Room Temp and WL Water Pump 3.

Ive checked and that is how mine is set up, so no nearer finding out what is going on 🙁

@bontwoody have you checked you have not set any holiday modes (Sunday to Saturday set on) on accidentally? If I switch holiday modes on on my Samsung Gen 6 it does grey out all my weekly, yearly schedules.

@technogeek You are a star! I must have set holiday modes when I was trying different ways of turning it off for the summer. Thanks everyone for helping 😁
