I have just completed my first year with my Gen 7 12Kwh Samsung and when I went to check the total consumption this am, I found that all records for the last 12 months had been deleted. Last week they were all there. Does anyone know if this is the way Samsung has configured the controls?

As it happens I have Planet Devices "Atmo" installed  and this shows usage as 5333Kwh for the year (at an average SCOP of 3.5) a little more than expected, but not excessive. How does that compare with other users systems please?

Are you checking on the Samsung controller itself, or on a web site?

My Samsung Gen6 (probably same controller as yours) only stores annual data for the current year (2025) so there is no data for last year. Looking at the monthly data, it only seems to store the last 12 months so I can currently scroll back to Oct 2024.

I'm a bit of a data freak, so I record all my data on a spreadsheet daily. Perhaps you could record yours weekly or monthly as suits your needs, maybe just taking a photo of it on your mobile phone.

Bottom line, I think it's normal for the controller to only store a limited amount of data for each of the daily, monthly and annual views.

Samsung 12kW gen6 ASHP with 50L volumiser and all new large radiators. 7.2kWp solar (south facing), Tesla PW3 (13.5kW)
Solar generation completely offsets ASHP usage annually. We no longer burn ~1600L of kerosene annually.

@old_scientist sorry, I should have made it clear that I own a Grant Aerona, rather than a Samsung.  For comparison, I access the data history via either a web browser or an iPad/iPhone app.  I assume that the data is stored on a server somewhere in the cloud.  I can download the data for a selected range of dates into a .csv file.  I imagine the Samsung probably works in a similar way?
