I attach examples of power cycling of my Samsung ASHP gen 6 12kw . I know it does this when it de-ices in freezing temperatures, but recently the temperatures haven’t dropped below 7° and I didn’t see this last year, does anyone know what might be causing this?

I cant see the examples, but I suspect its probably one of two things, either the heat pump cant modulate down low enough for the houses needs or the radiators in the house cant dump enough heat to keep the heat pump running continuously.

I notice you have a 12kW heat pump, what was the calculated heat loss for your property? Its not unknown for installers to err on the large size.

6.9 kWp of PV
5kWh DC coupled battery

I have considered that and I would have expected to see it in the past - but looking at this period last year it wasn’t doing the same . Heat loss calculation had space heating yearly demand as 8KW/hrs.
