Hello all, this is my first post here 😀

I have a heat pump Samsung 9kW EHS outdoor and inside Samsung AE090RNYDEG.

First-year when I started using this Samsung heat pump for underfloor heating, on my inside device I can to change temp.of supply line  from 28 to 38 degree,if I remember good. Also in all rooms, I use wall display for setup temperature (I can remember how to call on English). If  I put for example 22.5 C and when the temperature in the room comes below 22.00 C heat pump starts and work, also not depending the outdoor temp. or something also, only depends on the temperature on room display. This was my first setup

Next year my repair man recommend for me setup 2. And If I understand well now my heat pump depends of my wall display  in room and temperature outground. But now if I put on the wall display 22.5 C lot of times heat pump is not started. She started when it comes near 21.5 C. Now in the options menu of indoor unit I can't to change the temperature of the supply line but I have something like "ZONES" and can move from -5 to 0. Can somebody explain to me what it means if I change this from -5 to 0 or more?

And which setup, first or second  is better for you?

Thank you

@giga  From your description, your engineer has changed your set up so that the flow temperature of the water going to your underfloor heating (UFH) will change according to the outside temperature. The default settings for UFH are 40 deg C when outside temperature is -10 deg C and 25 deg C when outside temperature is 15 deg C. So if it is 7 deg C outside your UFH should be heated with water at around 30 deg C. These are the default settings, but your engineer may have altered these by going into service mode and changing the "Field Setting Values". However, you have the ability to alter the flow temperature by 5 degrees up or 5 degrees down using the up and down arrows on your display.  So if you are not getting enough heat into your home when the flow temperature is 30 deg C, you can increase it to roughly 35 deg C by using the +5 setting. Or you can reduce it to 25 deg C by using the -5 setting. If the outside temperature drops the system will increase the flow temperature without you changing anything.

This way of controlling the flow temperature is called weather compensation, although Samsung labels it 'Water Law'. It is generally thought of as the best way to run a heat pump.

I can't help with your thermostat problem though.
