I've just realised with all the reading and research I've been doing about ASHP, I've never seen mention of central heating inhibitor?

I have read with interest the recent recommendations of not using glycol and fitting anti-freeze valves instead but in this case would you then need normal central heating inhibitor or is there some other additive needed more specific to ASHP units?

Treatment can be even more simple than adding inhibitors and retesting every year.  VDI 2035 is a standard written by the association of German engineers.
