[Solved] If the supplier won't commission my Heliotherm heat pump what should I do next?
@editor The Heliotherm has been commissioned by MJS and has been keeping the house snug and warm. It is very quiet and appears to be efficient. Setting timers and other parameters could be easier, but that's minor.
Thank you to everyone who gave us help and advice. We were getting desperate after being so badly treated and left in the sh1t by ESP (Earth Save Products). Apart from their unprofessional behaviour we have come out as satisfied.
Bottom line?
I have cancer and have had couple of ops. Without the amazing assistance of MJS my recuperation would have been very uncomfortable, in an unheated house, with the stress of an unresolved commissioning. Thank you to MJS!
@editor @longbyre - Thanks for the heads up with MJS Energy! I have had a helitherm heat pump for nearly 5 years, with an ecocent hotwater system and teh solution has been working really well. Considering electricity is 4-5 times the price of gas, i have been able to spend same as my neighbours do using gas (same size property), plus i get a rebate.
Heliotherm heat pumps are not onyl super quiet (think still quiestest on the market), also where as most heat pumps have an effecienty of 3:1 at 0c, the heliotherm has this at -7c. In my view, you have a made a great choice when it comes to heat pump, stick with it, and hopefully MJS Energy support you. I will also be reaching out to MJS Energy so i can move away from the distributor you were with currently.
