Hi

Under the Eco4 grant, you may get PV and a heat pump but no battery.

We are looking to add this soon. Since we have to swap our SolaX 3.6 string inverter for a hybrid,  I was considering the Powerwall 3 as it has it's own inverter but is it worth the outlay?

I've been quoted £7-8k Inc the gateway.

ECO4 - It primarily targets low-income and vulnerable households, people on benefits, but you have disposable income to justify £7-8K spend. Something not adding up.

@johnmo You can also get the grant on health reasons. A friend of mine is immuno-suppressed and bought a wreck of a house (low EPC) so is eligible.

House-2 bed partial stone bungalow, 5kW Samsung Gen 6 ASHP (Self install)
6.9 kWp of PV
5kWh DC coupled battery

@johnmo our combined income is below the £31k and so qualify . I've had cancer so I might also qualify for that too. We have some savings which don't count. Hence the thinking of adding a battery.

The install is long and tortuous...it started in may and is still going on. Final inspection today & week.

Do we need to challenge personal circumstances on here? Surely not?
