In the diagram below, I describe my understanding of the comms connections @bash described, which assumes that the BMSs on each battery can be made to work together (a basic way being that they are all the same SEPLOS model, with the same firmware installed).
My question is of course, why would the daisy chaining of BMS comms not work with other BMS models?
You've mixed software and hardware concepts within the same question, making it unanswerable.
Yes, you can have multiple BMS units connected to the same RS485 bus, with the Inverter acting as the Master.
Either the inverter must be able to support different Modbus variants simultaneously, or else the BMS units would all need to be of the same type (eg from the same manufacturer).
You can't just make all the physical connections and then expect the inverter to sort it out for you!
I love diagrams. Even if more detailed, they would never be really right. Still, they make a huge difference to ground a discussion on the key aspects!
Solis menus imply the inverter is only meant to work with one BMS from one battery manufacturer. And Seplos is not included (my third reason to want a different BMS).
I will ask Solis and post any answers in the Inverter thread

Definitely for the money I think Fogstar are almost impossible to beat in the UK, certainly without taking an unnecessary risks for a (potential) small saving with an unknown supplier or importing yourself.

Fogstar sell ready made kits for over £2k.
The ebay links I shared are ready made batteries from the UK for £1k. They have been beaten already in the UK! 🤣
A fan club here up will not help to get them to catch up.

In all fairness you haven't provided any help at all, just links to some unknown and untested batteries from a random eBay account.
It would have been more useful to have given first hand information on these cheap batteries, but unfortunately although you seem to think they are the way forward, you haven't bought any yourself.
Please do though report back on your findings when you have bought some.
