Are there any comparisons of DHW heat stores around?

I'm now starting to look for a replacement for my gas combi to provide DHW. I already have two A2A multipoint installations for heating/cooling, although I have currently left the radiatior system in place. Unfortunately no PV, as the roof is not suitable.

I've been looking at the Sunamp (thanks, Toodles, for all your information!) but I'm wondering what else is out there and how they compare.

Obviously this is not urgent, as the combi is relatively new and can stay in place until it fails or we run out of gas...

Mine is partly still on gas and partly tanked and tank + good old immersion element on EV tariff made the RoI on other solutions nonsensical on current tariffs.

The last house I've been helping do up has an old fashioned power shower and for the water usage expected that also beat bothering with fancy technology. The up front cost of a lot of these systems is surprisingly large for what you get in return versus just accepting that water is expensive to heat. I guess it works if you use a lot of water.

For most people it's a non-issue, just look how few of them connect the optional hot line on their washing machine to the heatpump water tank 8)

One thing to note if you don't already know - you need to keep some radiators in place to use the combi for hot water only. When you turn the hot tap off it dumps some heat into the radiator side in order to get rid of it.
