@jamespa the pipes in my case bear downwards when existing the DHW tank, so may be less prone to airlock.. pic to follow later

Cheers, yeah there's no AAVs or thumbvalves approaching the outdoor unit. One of the first things I done was check the AAV on the outdoor but itself...
