Reusing existing radiators
We have received our system design from Aira, and as per the design there are about 9 radiator changes to meet the new DT22 requirements. I see that few of the larger K1 radiators that we currently have downstairs can be easily reused to meet the heat loss in the bedrooms. I know the four new K22 radiators are not pricey, but the whole purpose of us moving to heat pump is to reduce our carbon footprint. It would make sense to reuse the radiators where possible to avoid the perfectly working radiators going to landfill. The house is only 11 years old, so would have more life left in the radiators one would assume.
Does anyone have experience in reusing existing radiators for use elsewhere in the house as part of the heat pump installation? Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

6 kW Aira Heat Pump
@chandykris Yes, I did that, just bought two big radiators and shifted the others into different rooms. No problems.

Thanks @bontwoody. I thought so too, but always reassuring to get my assumption validated from people who have first hand experience.

@chandykris just give them a good wash out before fitting them back 😁
