My wife’s house: 1946 3 bed end of terrace in Somerset, ASHP with rads + UFH, triple glazed, retrofit IWI in troublesome rooms, small rear extension.
The pipe with the isolation valve with the blue handle, to what equipment does the pipe connect?

I prefer to work through problems in a systematic and logical manner, particularly when the person seeking help is new to heat pumps. I suspect that having a number of forum members throwing different questions at them could actually be counterproductive.
It's going to be a difficult one to diagnose just off photos... I suspect that the ashp is batch charging the thermal store - that all needs re-plumbing if it ever stands a chance of working properly. Shame I'm basically the other end of the country.

This is one of the problems, you are arriving at conclusions without establishing the full facts.
