Thermistor for a Grant QRSC180SL
Does anyone know how far into the sensor pocket the thermistor goes. I.E. If I get a two metre cable how much “tail” will I have left?
Kind Regards
Si

The all mighty Claude AI reckons between 100-150mm but as we all know the AI’s and the 5G’s have been wrong before! 🤣

Cheers @editor I managed (with the help of a mirror) to take a look inside. If this helps anyone else (as I genuinely didn’t know) the sensor pocket is just a tube through the insulation and you just push you temp probe in, mine is about 150mm in depth, I have a little probe with a digital display in there at the minute but the NTC 10K / B3950 thermistor to connect to the heat pumps is arriving today.
Kind Regards

@grantmethestrength, Neil’s on vacation, but he DM’d me saying: “The answer to the cylinder question is 120mm. So he’ll be left with 1.88m for a 2m sensor.”
