Mitsubishi Ecodan 14.4/FTC2 - getting performance data

Hi.  New to the forum and a complete ASHP novice.  

We bought a house at the end of last year with a Mitsubishi Ecodan 14.4 (PUHZ-HW140VHA2-BS) and FTC2 Controller with PAR-W21MAA-J remote.  Installed about 11 years ago when house built although external unit may have been replaced in 2016/17.  Unfortunately, no information, manuals or data provided when we moved in.

Is there a way that I can get data from this system to monitor it’s running and efficiency?  I've searched the internet and seen that you can get data from the newer systems but can't find anything about this one.  I believe that this system can't be connected to MELcloud.

Any help would be much appreciated.  Thanks.  Lee

I would suggest that you contact Mitsubishi Technical Help, since they should hopefully be able to help.

Thanks @derek-m.  I thought Mitsubishi Technical Help was only for Installers/Engineers.  However, I just got through to them and they advised that I can't get any performance data from the FTC2 as it is too old.  The only way to get the data is to upgrade to an FTC6.  I will have to get some quotes to see if its worthwhile.  Thanks again.

You could use a third partry system such as this, but its quite expensive and you would need to retro fit a heat meter into your pipework.

Thanks @bontwoody.  You're right, it is expensive.  For my set-up, not much different to changing to a FTC6.  I think I'll try working through other options first.  Thanks again.
