@grantmethestrength also i need to check the other strainer in the isolator valve, unfortunately its behind a 42mm bolt style cap so need to buy a much bigger adjustable spanner.
Well took the intakleen apart expecting that to be blocked again and it was mostly clear. So took the strainer out of the inta isolation valve and it was pretty grubby. So cleaned everything up, tested it at 100% pump speed and got 1530l/r compared to 820l/r. What I don’t get is why when it got clogged before it dropped to 725, so I cleaned just the intakleen, and rose to 1150 ish after. Yet this time the clog was mostly in the second strainer. It’s like after cleaning one the other got some rubbish in it.
Even during the cold snap still getting crap scop 3.1. But hot water (eco) and heating are both down to 3.1.

Is it still cycling, at what FT/OAT?
Mine appears currently to be at the 'sour spot'. OAT about 11C, still just cycling, COP 3.9, target FT ~32. If the OAT goes a bit lower it stops cycling and COP improves despite the thermodynamics, if the OAT goes a bit higher COP improves because of the thermodynamics. Ive only just in the last day got the ability to monitor and record COP (other than manually); I will be plotting COP vs OAT once I get a few weeks data, for interest and also so I can spot if anything changes.

@jamespa it doesn’t seem to matter the outside temp it cycles about once per hour. I tried adjusting the compressor setting that is normally set to -60 to -100, which apparently affects cycling, yet no change to scop.
its like no adjustment of settings affects the scop.

I think there may be some oddities about the COP reported by the app at present and possibly going forward.
My app (v3.31 build 24435) no longer seems to report it directly and, since a couple of days ago (when I know they made some changes on the server) the COP reported in home assistant (which polls the exact same feed as the app) has flatlined, in my case at 3.9 and checking the detail no new figure has been reported for two days, whereas previously this changed every 5 mins or thereabouts. However if I calculate reported heat generated/reported electric consumption I get 5.1. Im wondering if the server has now caught up with the app and no longer reports this figure at all. Either way I dont now trust it.
Can I suggest you check the version of your app (and if necessary update to latest) and also compare the COP reported with heat generated/electric consumption.
Regarding the cycling more detail is needed and particularly if it cycles when OAT is say 6-7.
Have you thought about installing any monitoring. Home Assistant is pretty easy to set up, does enough to get loads of diagnostics and needs no hardware other than a computer to run it on. The computer needs to be on 24*7 of course, I use a raspberry pi because its small and very low power consumption, but any discarded computer would probably do the job. OpenEnergyMonitor is much more comprehensive but needs hardware to measure flow rate and consumption, whereas the simple HA approach just polls the data that the app uses.

Posted by: @adamk@jamespa ive setup home assistant so hopefully will see some data that i can share after a few hours. is there a way to show return temp on it?
Not so far as I know. I dont think that is reported by the API unfortunately. Here is what I have on my 'dashboard' which, in practice, does almost everything I need.
Ignore the Heating COP tile, that, together with all of the energy consumed stats (but oddly not the current power stat) has flatlined since 26th Oct, for reasons as yet unclear.

@jamespa is there a way to show how it’s cycling etc. trying to figure what’s wrong as I’m getting 3.2 cop. Looking at my powerwall 3 it shows a cycle about once per hour so can’t figure why such low cop? Starting to wonder if I’ve got enough gas in the compressor?

If you have HA up and running watching the flow temp or the power tells you its cycling. Here is my FT
and power
showing cycling until 20:00 yhesterday, then a period of steady operation (because it got colder outside) and now (because its warmed up outside) starting to cycle again
Here is OAT for comparison
At one cycle per hour the key question is how much time does it actually spend on, not the cycle period as such. If you can work that out it may give a clue.
