@technogeek I feel that the solar PV pays for investing in the summer as the reduced production in the months where the heat pump is required will contribute but unlikely to cover the costs - the summer’s production investment goes a long way towards it though. 

I applied for my G99 last November.  Largely as a result of delays caused by NGED my PV installation wasn't until 1st July.  Largely as a result of delays between NGED and Octopus, I have only just got my export MPAN registered. I've lost all this season's export payments, extending the payback period.
