@windsor-tg

l too had the same problem. I have got a 3.6kw Sunsynk inverter and a single 5.12 ip65 battery installed in my loft. During the cold snap my battery cut out and refused to charge. I had an old "memory foam" mattress topper that I was in the process of throwing out. I cut the mattress up and made an insulation jacket that I'll leave on the battery for a couple of months in the winter. I also have a small fan heater connected via a smart switch so I can use Alexa to turn on the fan if it is particularly cold in the loft. The fan is only on warm and about 3 feet away from the battery so as not to cause a hot spot or overheat the battery. This works well for me.
