For those readers on Agile Tariff, there are some periods of plunge pricing on OE tomorrow; the first is at 00:30 - 01:00 when the rate is -3.93 pence per kW/h. I shall be topping up my DHW device and Powerwalls …. This has been a Public Service Announcement! Regards, Toodles.

Not sure whether something has changed on my setup but, I have noticed that OE’s Agile rates are not available until several hours later than usual this week; I find that the rates have not been available until about 18:00 for the last 4 or 5 days - they have been very prompt until now, has anyone else noticed this - or is it me? The rates have appeared for tomorrow and there are some hours of plunge pricing until 06:00; the plunges aren’t that deep but they are negative never the less! Regards, Toodles.

My son called recently to ask if I would provide him with a reference code so that he could switch to Octopus and we would both be credited with £50.

All I need to do now is convince everyone in the UK to ask me for a reference code and to switch to Octopus, and then I could be rich for hours and hours, or at least until 'she who must be obeyed' discovered my windfall. 😋

Ooh that will be good! This is what batteries are for! With solar input on the decrease and consumption (use of heat pump) on the increase, every ‘drop’ helps. 😊 Regards, Toodles.

Not in the same format as yours as I refer to the Octopus Compare App but, I am attaching screen shots that show my consumption daily and also over a longer period. I have the app to show a comparison with Cosy and I realise that I charge the battery and the Sunamp system at the cheapest overnight times rather than at prescribed periods set for Cosy. The fixed cheap rate for cosy is still somewhat higher than I tend to pay with selected Agile times. I often reserve my PV output for export as I usually consume overnight at a lower rate than the export rate. Regards, Toodles.

In case these details will clarify my consumption pattern, the attached screen shots are of my grid consumption (battery and DHW ‘charging’) for the 4th. and 5th. October 2023; the battery ‘takes over’ at all other times (yes, I know I’m a NERD!). Regards, Toodles.
