Octopus Energy - Free Electricity!
@derek-m As far as I am aware, the scheme is national not regional - but I could be wrong! Octoplus registration is a ‘one-off’ procedure which they explain means that all future such events will carry entitlement to participate. As I say, I could be wrong but that is my interpretation of their messages. Perhaps someone who hasn’t received subsequent invitations might care to seek clarification from OE? Regards, Toodles.

Well first session
"We didn’t receive your smart meter readings during the session, but we’ll credit your account 18p – the average amount of extra electricity customers used this time"

Not much I can do about it, my smart meter will not communicate. I actually didn't do anything different, so is a free 18p so nothing to get excited about.
@johnmo A flood must start with the first drop. Toodles.
