New Features
We'll be using this forum to update everyone about new features that are being added to these forums (and to the website itself).
For starters today, we've just added a search button for the forums, so you can find what you're looking for that much easier. It's located on the right sidebar, under the Advert block.

We've just added a YouTube embed feature to posts - once you've posted 10 times on the forums, you can post YouTube URLs in posts and these will show as embedded videos. This will make it easier to share useful content. Please note that we have only enabled YouTube from a security perspective, and all other platforms (Vimeo, Facebook, etc.) cannot be embedded.

Image attachments added. Now when you add an image to your posts, it'll display as a thumbnail and when you click on images they'll display in a lightbox.
Here's a demo. To attach an image simply, click My Media. Hit Add Files. Select and upload your image. When it's uploaded, select the image you want and Add To Post.

Thanks @boblochinver - I think they'll add value when the forums grow and people want to share photos.

Hi Mars. I’ve noticed something about the site that has now come to irritate me slightly. Not too much of a big deal but....
When visiting the forum and tapping on a thread that has new posts, indicated in bold type, one is taken directly to the last post. If more than one reply has been made one then has to scroll up to check. Would it be possible to change that so it would take me to the first unread post?
As said not a biggie but somewhat annoying.
Love the site otherwise 😁

14 x 500w Monocrystalline solar panels.
2 ESS Smile G3 10.1 batteries.
ESS Smile G3 5kw inverter.
@Morgan, a fair point. I'll have a look into it and see if I can come up with a solution for this. It may be beyond my skill set, but I'll see what I can do. 😀

It could be a good idea to allow signatures to be added or info from your profile to be displayed next to each post in your user info such as location and system so people can easily see what you are running without having to click on a users profile or visit the first page of their thread.
Mitsubishi Ecodan 14kw ASHP + 500l Cylinder

Were you able to look into this? I still frequently have to scroll back from the last post to access previously unread posts.

@morgan, I did and couldn't find a working solution. But I'll have another look if there's a new setting for this.
